AGTA Tucson

Earlier this month I traveled to Tucson for the AGTA GemFair, one of the most important gatherings in the world of colored gemstones.
Each year the global gemstone community gathers there. Cutters, dealers, miners, and designers sharing stones that have often traveled extraordinary journeys before reaching the display table.
Walking through the show is both exhilarating and humbling.
Tables shimmer with color: sapphires, spinels, tourmalines, and the deep violet glow of amethyst. But what stays with me most are the people. So many talented, knowledgeable and committed people who have spent decades studying, cutting, and trading these remarkable stones.
Pacem is still in its early chapters, and it was incredibly meaningful to meet so many passionate members of this community. Here are some of the pieces that will be featured in our upcoming collections!
*Pistachio Gaspeite Magnesite *Turquoise and Lapis lazuli *Labradorite
Jewelry begins long before it reaches the wearer. It begins with the earth and with the people who dedicate their lives to revealing the beauty within it.
We are proud to bring this vision to life through fine jewelry that unites meaningful gemstones and sacred symbols, creating pieces of deep spiritual significance.
Notes on the Tucson Gem Show
What is the AGTA GemFair Tucson?
The AGTA GemFair Tucson is one of the most important global events for colored gemstones, bringing together dealers, designers, and collectors from around the world.
Why do jewelry designers attend gem shows?
Gem shows allow designers to discover rare stones, meet gemstone cutters and dealers, and find inspiration for new jewelry designs.
Why are gemstones important in fine jewelry?
Gemstones add color, rarity, and symbolism to jewelry and often carry stories of their origin and craftsmanship.
Pacem Perspective
Pacem is a modern luxury jewelry house inspired by sacred geometry and spiritual symbolism. Our pieces draw from historic forms found in sacred architecture and translate them into refined contemporary jewelry crafted in 18k gold and precious stones.
We believe jewelry can carry meaning. It is a reminder of faith, reflection, protection, or personal milestones, worn quietly each day.
Pacem is a prayer for peace, translated through metal and light.
I’m so glad you’re here.
With love and symbols,
Amber
